blog 2 term 3 reading post #2

                                           Ender's shadow-Orson Scott Card February 1 (45)

I have been reading Ender’s shadow. This week I read about Bean in the Battle school. He tries to lean as much as he can about other students.  He also tries to hide as much information as he cans about himself because he does not trust other people. He doesn’t participate in many of the games that the school uses to study kids personalities and minds. Instead, he spends his time reading and going into the vent system to look around the battle school without been seen. He spies and listens to other students, teachers and other leader in the school. He also manages to steal a teacher’s password to the school computer system and he’s able to read files and information on many students. He is most interested in Ender Wiggin. He totally avoids interacting with Ender, but at the same time he studies him intensely. He tells Major Anderson that the reason he avoids him is because everyone compare him with Ender. They were both very young when they started at Battle school and they are both the smartest kids in Battle school. But ender is different from Bean because People like Ender, they admire him. Ender teaches what he knows to other students, even the new kids.  He seems spend more time teaching others in the battle room than working to prepared himself. Everyone looks up to Ender Even the teachers admire Ender. Bean wants to be like Ender. He wants to be a leader. So he tries to study Ender from far away and in secret.
